TPE vs Silicone Sex Dolls

The two main materials you’ll see across the range. Both are body-safe. Both feel soft and skin-like. But they’re different in ways that matter.

TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) is softer, stretchier, and less expensive. It feels more flesh-like under the hand and has a slight give to it that silicone doesn’t match. The trade-off is durability – TPE is porous, so it absorbs moisture and needs careful cleaning and drying after every use. It also stains more easily from dark clothing or dyes.

What Makes a Good Sex Doll?

Not all sex dolls are built the same. Here’s what separates a good one from a regrettable purchase.

Skeleton quality. The internal skeleton determines how well the doll poses and how long the joints last. Stainless steel skeletons with reinforced joints are the standard at the premium end. Weight distribution. A good doll distributes its weight realistically across the body. Heavier isn’t always better, but dolls under 25kg tend to feel less lifelike during use.
